Our Indian-grown organic basmati rice is an exotic choice with a fluffier, drier texture and distinctive aroma. Basmati rice is an aromatic, long grain rice that is traditionally used in Indian cuisine. It's perfect for stir fries, salads, stuffing, pilaf and desserts.
For best results, Basmati rice should be rinsed and then soaked for 30 minutes prior to cooking. Cooking Instructions: after rinsing basmati rice, add 1 part rice to 2.5-3.0 parts boiling water or broth. Return to boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to sit, covered, for a further 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
