Real flour as it used to be…unchanged for thousands of years! Non-hybridised – no nasties or chemicals added (unlike much of today’s flour).
Organic farming uses no pesticides or artificial fertilisers and works with nature to build the fertility and health of our soil while caring for our environment. Organic farming has a low carbon footprint. Pure and simple, just the way nature intended.
Grown and milled by innovators who care
For over 40 years, Wholegrain Milling Co., lead by the Neale family, have provided Australia’s leading bakers and wholesalers with the very best, locally grown certified organic, sustainable and chemical-free grains and flours.
Sourced from Australia’s eastern states, their grains are planted and harvested by farmers who care about the long-term health of the soil. On reaching them, these grains are then ground using their stone or roller mills to create the finest quality flours for bread lovers everywhere.
Sourcing and transportation
Sourcing and delivering premium locally grown and chemical-free grains to our mill is Wholegrain Milling's highest priority. Their chemical-free mission is only made possible through their respected network of farmers and the integrity of the trucks that transport the grain. They only accept transport direct from harvest by carriers that follow their stringent practices, giving us a 100% guarantee that the grain that leaves the farm is free from synthetic fertilisers and other harmful chemicals commonly found in unregulated storage and transportation.
Wholegrain Milling have pioneered stone milling in Australia for over 40 years, perfecting their process through their very own custom-designed and custom-built mill stone and machinery. This process delivers an unparalleled quality of flour that is bursting with flavour and rich in nutrients. Essentially, the process allows for the grain to pass through the mill slowly and at cooler temperatures to preserve the precious essential enzymes and nutrients retained in the wholegrain, perfect for all your baking needs.
